Benedetto Camerana

Graduated in Architecture in Polytechnic University of Turin in 1991.
Registered in the Order of Architects of the Province of Turin at no. 3898 from 1995.
Benedetto Camerana, architect, landscape architect, PhD in History of Architecture and Urban Planning, after his studies continues his theoretical research working on the integration between architecture and landscape, towards a “green architecture” with a clear environmental matrix, as Director of the magazine “Eden. L’architettura nel paesaggio “from 1993 to 1997 and” Landscape Architecture” from 2001 to 2005.

Speaker at the 23rd UIA World Congress of Architecture 2008. Member of the Board of Directors of Palazzo Grassi in Venice from 1996 to 2005. From 2010 to 2011 adjunct professor at the Polytechnic of Turin. Since 1999 he has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the IED – European Design Institute, with offices in Turin and Milan. Since January 2012 he is President of the National Automobile Museum, since March 2013 President of the Lingotto consortium in Turin, from March 2015 to 2017 member of the Metaphisical Club of the Domus Academy in Milan.
From 1997 Benedetto Camerana starts his own professional activity. In 2003 he founded Camerana&Partners, an architectural services company, in which Italian and European architects collaborated. Today he continues his activities as design studio Benedetto Camerana (Camerana&Partners).
His projects have been developed in twenty years of growing success through competitions in urban design, in landscape and in major public and private architecture works.
